World Heritage Day is a global celebration of the planet’s most treasured landmarks and cultural sites. This year, ASS MONT PERDU PATRIMOINE MONDIAL is proud to host a series of events to commemorate the day. We invite you to join us on April 18th for guided tours, workshops, and presentations highlighting the unique features of the Mont Perdu massif. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the history, ecology, and conservation efforts in this remarkable transboundary area.
Our celebration will include guided hikes through some of the most scenic trails, offering breathtaking views and insights into the local flora and fauna. Experts will be on hand to discuss the geological formations, traditional farming practices, and the impact of climate change on the region. We will also host a workshop on sustainable tourism, exploring ways to enjoy and protect Mont Perdu for future generations. The day will conclude with a community gathering featuring local music and cuisine.
We believe that World Heritage Day is a time to reflect on our shared responsibility to protect these invaluable sites. By participating in our events, you will not only gain a deeper appreciation for Mont Perdu but also contribute to its long-term preservation. We encourage everyone to register in advance as spaces are limited. Let’s come together to celebrate and safeguard the legacy of Mont Perdu!
